Did you know that the FR Elementary Campus PTO…
- spends roughly $75,000 annually to fund enrichment activities and supplies that benefit the children in our school? This budget, which amounts to around $60 per student, includes funding for field trips, classroom/library supplies, academic assemblies, free social and academic family events (Grade Level Events, Science Night, etc.), appreciation events, and many other wonderful programs.
- relies entirely on a combination of fundraising events/sales and donations? The fundraisers are run completely by parent volunteers who offer huge chunks of their time to make the money necessary to finance events and activities for every child in our school.
- welcomes and appreciates individual donations from FR families and local businesses? Many families do not wish to participate in fundraisers during the year and instead prefer to donate money when it is convenient for them. This type of donation is completely voluntary and tax exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
If you wish to make a contribution to the Fund Drive, you may send it to school in an envelope marked “PTO Fund Drive.” Kindly make checks payable to “,” and write “Fund Drive” in the memo. The envelope can be returned to your child’s classroom or placed in the blue PTO bin in the office.
