FR Primary PTO Board 2026-2027

  Hello, my name is Megan Hake and I am excited to serve as PTO President this year. My husband, Seth, and I live in Murrysville with our 3rd grader, 1st grader, and one year old. As an elementary school teacher for 12 years, I have a passion for supporting students, educators, and school communities. I'm honored to have the opportunity to give back through the PTO and look forward to working alongside our families and staff to make this a wonderful year for our students.    

  Hello FR Families, I have lived in Murrysville for the past 13 years with my husband, George, and our two daughters, Ellie and Baker. Ellie is entering 2nd grade, and Baker will be starting Kindergarten. We also have a labradoodle named Beans. I work full-time and enjoy being actively involved in our school community. Over the past three years, I’ve had the opportunity to support the PTO as the committee chair for both the Fall Book Fair and the Bulletin Boards, as well as volunteering at various other school events. I’m excited to step into the role of Co-President and continue working with the amazing FR Primary staff, students, and families to help make this school year a great one.

  My name is Sheri Wikert and I am looking forward to being Co-VP for the 2026-27 school year! I live in Murrysville, and have two boys (Conor is a second Grader and Leo is a first grader). We also have a sweet beagle named Lucy! We love to spend our time outdoors and enjoy hiking, watersports and baseball. We also love family game nights and spending time with our friends, family and neighbors. I have enjoyed getting involved with the PTO the past several years! Prior to my children being born, I worked in Events Management for the Chamber of Commerce in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am excited for all that is to come while working with families, staff and the PTO Board this year! 

   I'm thrilled to be joining the Franklin Primary PTO for the second year! My husband, Tim, and I have three amazing kids—Henry, who's in 2nd grade, Gianna in 1st grade, and our youngest, Cameron, who will be turning five this October. Henry is our creative thinker—he loves building with Legos, exploring the world of Minecraft, diving into STREAM-inspired activities, and playing baseball. Gianna is full of energy and heart; she adores cheer, soccer, dance, and gymnastics and always keeps us smiling with her enthusiasm. Cameron plays soccer, and he’s all about dinosaurs, cars, and anything that rolls or bounces—classic little brother fun!

Over the past several years, I've had the pleasure of volunteering at Franklin Primary, and it's truly been a joy getting to know the incredible teachers, staff, and students who make our school so special. I also coach the FAMFA cheer flag level squad, which has been such a fun and rewarding experience. I'm excited to be more involved and can't wait to work alongside the other PTO members to help create a wonderful school year for both our kids and their amazing teachers.  

 Hello FR Primary families! My name is Jessica Martin, and I’m excited to serve on the PTO Board this year. My husband and I have four children: Ryder, who is in 10th grade; Aidyn, who is in 9th grade; Bryson, who is in 3rd grade; and Aspyn, who is in 1st grade. Our kids keep us busy with hockey, lacrosse, All-Star cheer, and school cheer, and we love being involved in their activities and school community. I’m looking forward to helping support our students, teachers, staff, and families throughout the year and being part of all the wonderful events that make FR Primary such a special place!  

 Hello FR Primary Families! My name is Melissa Gonder and I’ll be serving as your Treasurer this year! I have lived in Murrysville my entire life (as well as FR alumni) with my husband, Rick, and am glad to come full circle now with our daughter, Tenley, who is in 1 st grade this year. We are involved in so many activities including dance, gymnastics, soccer, basketball and cheer, so there’s always something to do. I have coached soccer through MASA the last couple of years, coach gymnastics and have been involved in FRAA cheer as well. We have a “teddy bear” pup named Piper who is our “sweet little old lady” of the house turning 11 this year. I work as a registered nurse, but also love to bake on the side. I enjoyed volunteering in so many events at the school and community last year, that being a part of this amazing PTO board this year was a

no-brainer! I’ve supported the PTO as chair for the Fall and Spring book fairs, Field Day, Teacher/Staff Appreciation and participated in many others, so I’m excited to dive in this year. As a family, we love to go bike riding (and stop at Grif’s for a treat of course!), swimming, camping, be beach bums, and spend time with family and friends. I’m super excited and honored to have this opportunity and can’t wait to help make amazing memories this year!

 Hello FR Families! My name is Cassy Armstrong, and I’m excited to serve as PTO Secretary at the Primary School again this year. My husband Rob and I are Franklin Regional graduates, now raising our three children—Emelia, Evelina, and Arlo—right here in the community that shaped us. Our kids are involved in all kinds of activities including softball, soccer, cheer, and swimming, so chances are you’ve seen us at a field, pool, or gym! I’m a former primary school teacher with 13 years of classroom experience and now work from home in a more flexible role that allows me to be present for my family while continuing to use my skills in communication, planning, and organization. While I may not be in the classroom anymore, I deeply understand how impactful parent and community support can be. I’m excited to give back, stay connected, and help contribute to a positive, fun, and supportive school environment for our students and staff this year!

 I have 3 boys with my husband, Scotty. Oliver (5th grade), Sebastian (1st grade) and Archer (K). I currently work full time as a Senior Corporate Technical Recruiter for Net Health. Outside of work, I've also been coaching soccer for MASA for many years. I am very excited to be able to continue serving on the PTO board for another school year!
